A Considered Approach

A facelift, when done well, shouldn't look like one.

A facelift (rhytidectomy) addresses the cumulative effects of sun exposure, weight fluctuation, and natural aging on the face. Dr. Luck performs facelift surgery to reduce jowls and correct loose, sagging skin on the face and neck, centering each procedure around the patient's individual goals and anatomy to achieve a natural-looking, refreshed appearance rather than a "pulled" one.
The Technique

Four principles behind every lift.

Facelift surgery is the single most effective technique available for reducing visible aging in the midface and lower face. Every plan follows the same four principles:

Deep-Plane Technique

Addresses the deeper structural layer of the face rather than tightening the skin's surface, for natural-looking movement and longer-lasting results in the midface and jawline.

Natural Anatomic Incisions

Incisions are placed in areas of natural anatomic transition, designed to be nearly imperceptible once healed.

Complementary Skin Resurfacing

Dr. Luck performs CO2 laser skin resurfacing at the end of every facelift, refining skin tone and texture alongside the surgical lift.

Comprehensive Facial Harmony

A facelift rejuvenates the midface and lower face; modest neck improvement occurs but a full neck lift is needed for complete neck rejuvenation, and laxity around the eyes or forehead isn't addressed. That's why a facelift is commonly combined with blepharoplasty and/or a brow lift for a comprehensive, harmonious result.
